It is also important to be certain that the bridge has a clean termination point.
The old bridge pins are removed, any small cracks are filled or if the bridge is
badly cracked the bridge cap is replaced. The bridge surface is sanded smooth,
graphite is applied, the notches are made and new pins are installed.
